Welcome to the AFSP Massachusetts Chapter
About the AFSP Massachusetts Chapter
The grassroots work our chapter does focuses on eliminating the loss of life from suicide by in Massachusetts by: delivering innovative prevention programs, educating the public about risk factors and warning signs, raising funds for suicide research and programs, and reaching out to those individuals who have lost someone to suicide.
Our chapter serves all of Massachusetts. As a part of AFSP’s growing nationwide network of chapters, we bring together people from all backgrounds who want to prevent suicide in our communities. Together we are creating a culture that's smart about mental health.

Healing Conversations gives survivors of suicide loss the opportunity to speak with volunteers, who are themselves loss survivors.
Available by phone or video chat, our volunteers are familiar with the isolation that so often accompanies a death of this kind, and are able to show suicide loss survivors a way forward into a world of support.
