CHECK OUT the Walk event location at the beautiful Centennial Hills Park. This year's 5K route (3.1 miles) will start/end at the SOUTH side of the park, closest to the Centennial Hills Library. The route is wheelchair and stroller accessible. Come prepared for lots of encouragement and support along the way!
You don't need to Walk to participate! Participants are welcome to stay at the park area to welcome walkers as they return.

If you are a survivor of suicide loss, we encourage you to bring a non-returnable photo of your loved one to the Walk to add to the Remembrance Tent. AFSP's Remembrance Tent is an opportunity for Walkers to share special photos and written memories of their loved ones with others, or to simply pause for a quiet moment of reflection. |
Dogs are welcome at the Walk! Bring your four-legged friend to the Walk and register them at the Paws For Prevention ten. For a $10 donation you will receive an AFSP doggie bandana and a treat bag.
All four-legged walkers will also recieve a special raffle ticket for a chance to win a pet-themed prize!

Make sure to arrive early to allow time to explore the Out of the Darkness Community Resource Fair! Information tables hosted by local businesses and non-profit organizations will open at 9:00 a.m.. This is your opportunity to gather literature, hear about upcoming events, and connect with others who are dedicated to raising awareness of mental illness and to preventing suicide. |

Please remember to pick up your Honor Beads and "I Walk For" labels at the Walk to acknowledge your personal connection to the cause and help you to identify with others who may know just how you feel.
