It's time to put your fundraising into gear!! We'd like to make it worth your while! Send those emails, Facebook posts and ASK your friends and colleagues for a donation.
You could win 2 (two) tickets to Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark in our special Raffle for all Manhattan Out of the Darkness Community Walk Registrants.
For every increment of $100.00 you raise online between October 4th through October 16th your name will be entered into the drawing to win tickets to see Spider-Man at the Foxwoods Theatre.
The more money you raise, the more chances you have of winning!!
The winner will be announced at the Walk on October 27th .
**Contest applies to ONLINE donations received during October 4-16 ONLY. Prior donations and funds already raised before October 4th do not apply.
The walk location is Battery Park City, with registration & check-in taking place at the plaza at Robert F. Wagner Jr. Park, (West Street & Battery Place).
Registration/Sign in opens: 8:00am-9:30am
Opening Ceremony: 9:40am
Walk Begins: 10:00am Walk Ends: 12:00pm
Please email a photo of the loved one you are walking in honor of (whether it is yourself, a friend, relative, etc.) to be included in our Memorial Garden at the walk. Be sure to include their name and your team name, and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Important Deadline for Banners and Signs!
October 21stis the deadline to be included on the banners or have an Individual Team Sign
To be included on the Top Fundraisers Banner your fundraising total of $1,000 or more must be posted by October 21st
To be included on the Lifesavers banner, individual donors of $250+ donations must be posted by October 21st
To receive a Team Sign your team total must reach the designated level and be posted by October 21st

Any individual who donates $250 or more will get their name on a special Start Line banner
2013 Top Fundraisers Banner
Any participant who raises $1,000 or more will get their name on a special Stage banner

All teams raising $1,000 by September 26th will get their Team Name printed on our 2013 Manhattan Out of the Darkness Community Walk T-Shirts
(Remember walkers must raise $150 to get a T-Shirt)
