Dear Friend,

Above is the last picture ever taken of my adopted dad, Ron Murray with my daughter. He took his own life on September 13, 2006.
This year on October 18th, I will be joining with thousands of people nationwide this fall to walk in AFSP's Eugene Walk 2009 Out of the Darkness Community Walk, in memory of him to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. This event means a lot to my family & I. I would appreciate any support that you give me for this worthwhile cause.

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is at the forefront of research, education and prevention initiatives designed to reduce loss of life from suicide. With more than 33,000 lives lost each year in the U.S. and over one million worldwide, the importance of AFSP's mission has never been greater, nor our work more urgent.
