Hi There,
On September 8th I will be joining with thousands of people nationwide to walk in AFSP's South Metro Walk to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. I would appreciate any support that you give me for this worthwhile cause.
On June 3rd, 2011 I lost my dad-John Ettinger Sr.-to suicide. In my mission to raise money and make a stand for Suicide Prevention with AFSP I am also fighting to prevent other families from feeling the pain I still have in my heart.
The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is at the forefront of research, education and prevention initiatives designed to reduce loss of life from suicide. As a member of the Denver Chapter's Board of Directors I recognize that with more than 36,000 lives lost each year in the U.S. and over one million worldwide, the importance of AFSP's mission has never been greater, nor our work more urgent.
