Fundraising Page for Hampton Roads VA Walk

Dear Friends, Family, Anyone and Everyone!
To support a great friend of mine, Dixie, who recently lost her mother, I will be joining with thousands of people nationwide to walk in AFSP's Hampton Roads VA Walk to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. I would appreciate any support that you can offer for this worthwhile cause, and to help honor the memory of Mrs. Vicki Hanel, in addition to all other people lost in this tragic manner.
Dixie was the best college room-mate ever, and has been a wonderful friend to me for many years since then. She is married with four children, works full time as a nurse helping deliver babies, and still makes time for her friends too. For Dixie to participate in this fundraising event in honor of her mom shows what a caring, resilient and inspiring person she is. I am honored to be able to help her in this fundraising effort, and I know she will appreciate any donations and support just as much as I will!!
The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is at the forefront of research, education and prevention initiatives designed to reduce loss of life from suicide. With more than 36,000 lives lost each year in the U.S. and over one million worldwide, the importance of AFSP's mission has never been greater, nor our work more urgent.
