Dear Friends,

I am walking for my friend, Amanda, who lost her 14 year old son, Alec, a few weeks ago to suicide. Please consider supporting me in this walk.

I will be joining with thousands of students nationwide this spring to walk in AFSP's West Chester University Campus WalkOut of the Darkness Campus Walk to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. I would appreciate any support that you give me for this worthwhile cause.

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is at the forefront of research, education and prevention initiatives designed to reduce loss of life from suicide. With more than 33,000 lives lost each year in the U.S. and over one million worldwide, the importance of AFSP's mission has never been greater, nor our work more urgent.
