Fundraising Page for San Diego Walk
October 20, 2012 at Embarcadero Marina Park North
Hi!
I will be participating in the 2012 San Diego Out of the Darkness Community Walk to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) - San Diego Chapter. I would appreciate any support that you can give me for this worthwhile cause.
I'm walking because you have more to live for. I'm walking because I don't want anyone else to ever feel like they are alone in this world.
Thank God I have my amazing husband, Ethan, and my amazing friends along with organizations like AFSP & To Write Love On Her Arms. They all have helped me through my recovery (5 years, this Christmas!!!) and I'm so thrilled to be making a difference in this world!
My full story is available on my Facebook page in the notes section. I am a very open and honest person because of my history. I've been through so much and I wouldn't have changed a thing because of how amazing everything turned out.
AFSP is at the forefront of research, education and prevention initiatives designed to reduce loss of life from suicide. With more than 36,000 lives lost each year in the U.S. and over one million worldwide, the importance of AFSP's mission has never been greater, nor our work more urgent.
I hope you will consider supporting my participation in this event. Any contribution will help the work of AFSP, and all donations are 100% tax deductible.
Donating online is safe and easy! To make an online donation please click the "Support This Participant" button on this page.
