Dear Friend,

After losing my cousin to suicide just this past week, it really hit home how much more we need to do as individuals to raise suicide awareness and help those who have been victims to it. The families and friends left behind are the true victims that suffer on a daily basis from the feeling of guilt and loss of a loved one. Help raise awareness so that no one will ever have to deal with this pain again.

I will be joining with thousands of students nationwide this spring to walk in AFSP's Haymarket VA Battlefield HS Campus WalkOut of the Darkness Campus Walk to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. I would appreciate any support that you give me for this worthwhile cause. Whether it's a dollar, or more, please help as much as you can.

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is at the forefront of research, education and prevention initiatives designed to reduce loss of life from suicide. With more than 33,000 lives lost each year in the U.S. and over one million worldwide, the importance of AFSP's mission has never been greater, nor our work more urgent.

My goal is just $25, a goal that I know can be easily reached. But I hope and pray that I can surpass. Can you help? I hope you will consider supporting my participation in this event. Any contribution will help the work of AFSP, and all donations are 100% tax deductible.
