Fundraising Page for UC Berkeley Campus Walk
April 7, 2013 at UC Berkeley - Sproul Plaza

Dear Friends,

I will be joining with thousands of people nationwide this fall to walk in AFSP's UC Berkeley Campus Walk Out of the Darkness Community Walk to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. I would appreciate any support that you give me for this worthwhile cause.

June 10, 2012, I lost my brothers best friend, who was a close friend of mine. I fell into severe depression and have been battling PTSD as well. I barely knew anything about such psychological diseases, and was truly blessed to receive help. If I did not receive help, I do not know where I would be today.

I got involved with AFSP because I knew I wanted to do something for my friend who passed, but also something as healing for myself. I am an intern for the SF Bay Area chapter and my role this year is serving as the financial coordinator for the Berkeley Walk.

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is at the forefront of research, education and prevention initiatives designed to reduce loss of life from suicide. With more than 38,000 lives lost each year in the U.S. and over one million worldwide, the importance of AFSP's mission has never been greater, nor our work more urgent.

I hope you will consider supporting my participation in this event. Any contribution will help the work of AFSP, and all donations are 100% tax deductible.

Donating online is safe and easy! To make an online donation please click the "Support This Participant" button on this page.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! Nothing is to small or to big. Much Love
