I love Cheryl.  I miss her already. Writing or talking about Cheryl’s death is difficult. I started out the week thinking we were going to be making hot cocoa during the blizzard. I ended the week a wreck. There are a lot of emotions that come out when someone dies this way. You get angry, intensely sad, unable to speak, sleepless; your eyes burn from the salt of your tears. You call out for the nightmare to end and to wake up next to the person you love. Cheryl had told me about her struggles with sadness. I was there for her. I tried my best; I tried to support her. This tragedy is a fundamental breakage inside, a rejection by the universe of the life Cheryl tried to manifest. I didn’t know it was possible to be in this much pain.

Cheryl, I know you are gone but I want to tell you that I love you. I love you Cheryl. If you (the visitor to this page) love Cheryl too or Cheryl has touched your life or connected in any way you will help us reach our goal, raising $500 for the American Foundation For Suicide Prevention. I’ve submitted the first $100.
