I lost my 18-year-old son, Morgan, to suicide in 2012. Morgan was outspoken about social justice and the necessity of helping others. I knew I had to find a way to transform my loss and become his voice in hopes of helping save lives. That’s when I discovered the mission of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, a nationwide community empowered to take action against this leading cause of death through research, education, and advocacy. I’m honored to lead the launch of the Michigan Circle of Hope. Please join me in completing the circle and saving lives.
