Out of the Darkness Wellness Challenge
We're kicking off our 2020 Out of the Darkness season with a six week wellness challenge, in partnership with Kilter Rewards. Starting Monday, August 3rd, you'll take action for suicide prevention by tracking your daily activities using the Kilter Rewards app. Join us and show the world that we're #TogetherToFightSuicide. While there may be some limitations in how we can gather in person this fall, we can still send hope and let people know that they are not alone. Take part in our #HopeInTheMailbox postcard campaign and brighten someone’s day by sending a free postcard to let them know you’re thinking of them. Learn more at afsp.org/HopeInTheMailbox.

Visit our Out of the Darkness Experience Social Share page, where you can type a custom message into a graphic and download a share-ready image. You can also download your background without a message and customize on your phone or computer with any stickers, emojis, and images you want to add before sharing.

When selecting an image, it is recommended to use one that is zoomed out from the subject in frame. Save the Date - National Suicide Prevention Week 2020
Have your supporters given you checks made payable to American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (or AFSP) to support your fundraising efforts? Download an Offline Donation Form and mail your payment to AFSP, Attn: OOTD Walks, 199 Water Street, 11th Floor, NY, NY 10038 and it will post to your donation page within 12-18 business days from the date you mail the check. If your walk is in less than two weeks, you can bring the check(s) and offline donation form(s) with you to the event and turn it in at check-in. Donations turned in at the walk will post to your page within 5-10 business days of the evnet date.

Offline Donation Form
Anything other than a credit card donation made online (such as checks and money orders mailed to AFSP or handed in at the event) is considered to be an OFFLINE donation. Please use one form for each offline donation, making sure to clearly print your name and walk city/state on the form. Once we receive and process the donation, it will post to your fundraising page. Please allow 10-15 business days from the date you mail the check for it to appear on your fundraising page.
Itemized Donation Form
Use this form to list several donors for one check (great if you've collected cash from multiple supporters and are sending in a check or money order).
Checks should be made payable to AFSP and mailed to:

Matching gifts are when companies "match" a charitable gift an employee makes. Reach out to your network to let everyone know that they may be able to double their contribution if their employer has a matching gift program. To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, click HERE and type their name into the search bar.
