Arturo Contreras, Born in El Paso, Texas and grew-up as a local of
Fabens. Son of six children to Maria Ester Martinez. Arturo graduated
high school valedictorian and enjoyed playing football and running
track.

He moved to Phoenix, Arizona when he was 18 and studied into his
permanent career as an electrician. He had a hard-working and giving
nature and loved his work, facing any new challenges and learning
curves head-on with a positive attitude. He never missed a game of his
favorite sports team, the Raiders and also enjoyed collecting their
memorabilia.

He met his first wife Marlene and shared a son Phillip Contreras, born
in 1993, later she fell ill and passed. He moved to Chandler for new
job opportunities to provide a new life for his son. Years later he
was able to find love once again, meeting Patricia Corona, they
married in 2001, making two families into one, Arturo took on the role
of a stepfather to Eduardo Corona and later in October 2004, was the
birth of their precious daughter, Stephanie Contreras.

On the beginning of his last day on July 1, 2019 he was called to home
where he met his mother Maria, his past family, friends, and other
loved ones he had in his heart. Survived by his wife, children,
sisters and brother, he will be missed dearly. Rest in Peace
