Saying I will never forget, does not mean I will never move on. Saying I am happy, does not mean I never feel sad. What I feel changes constantly, but who I am is at the core of me. I am a free spirit, a believer, a lover and a fighter, and I am a survivor.

I learned young how quickly the sky can go black, and it was then that I lost belief in my own light. People change, loss happens, and cuts may run deep, but we grow and we will heal. It's a story of mine that not many know, but I'm ready now. I'm ready to make a difference, to be that light I thought I wouldn't find....because against all the odds I thought I faced, I did.
