Special message from Lisa Brattain, AFSP's Senior Director of the East Central Division:
Welcome to the East Central Division Team! #EastCentralDivisionRocks
Thank you for joining the Out of the Darkness Wellness Challenge. Let’s earn points together!
My name is Lisa Brattain and I am your East Central Division Team Captain. I am dedicated to doing all that I can to #StopSuicide, after losing my son Kurt by suicide in 2006. Over this 6-week challenge, I look forward to stepping up my self-care routine with all of you. For me, Self-care activities are walking, swimming, walking my dogs, playing with my grandchildren, meditation/mindfulness activities, journaling and raising funds for this years Out of the Darkness Experience (afsp.org/fightsuicide).
I am excited to learn about your personal self-care activities over the next 6 weeks. I personally challenge each of us to find a new activity to add to our individual toolkits for our overall wellness during these 6 weeks together. #TogetherWeAreStronger
Thanks for joining us to do this TOGETHER! #TogetherToFightSuicide
