Jordan Michael Ballard was an INCREDIBLE, talented human being. Michael and Luella Ballard would like to share his story in hopes it will inspire you to help prevent suicide, since no parent should ever have to experience the trauma we are going through.

Jordan Michael Ballard was born May 3, 1988 in Battle Creek, MI. He was the youngest of Luella and Michael’s two sons, and was affectionately called “Jambo”.  Jordan was a creative, gifted and talented soul, with a great work ethic. At the end of his life, Jordan lived in Bloomington, MN and worked at Best Buy headquarters in Marketing, which he considered his dream job.

His work experience started at Taco Bell, where he started on his 14th birthday. After graduating from Wayzata High School, he attended Purdue University In Indiana. He completed his marketing degree at North Dakota State University. Upon graduation, his career in marketing began at EVINE (Shop NBC).

Jordan’s gifts included pottery, art, solving Rubik’s Cube and video game creation, but his passions were comedy, politics, music, gaming, his cat Chopper and scuba diving.  He was a certified diver at an advanced level and loved night dives, shipwrecks and especially shark dives. Frequently, Jordan was known to say, "I'm well aware of that!"

He adored his nephews Jalen and Kamden, sons of his brother Jarod, and sister-in-law Amanda of Roscoe, IL. Jordan is now in the presence of God, and some day, we will meet him again to remind him how much he was loved. This time, we are the ones who are well aware of that!

Rest in Heaven, JAMBO!!!
