Jess Marquis Immler

“There is a light that never goes out.”

Jesse Immler, also known as Jess Marquis, was a New York City DJ, musician, and nightlife icon. Many lives were touched by his music, his talent, his great spirit, and his endless positive energy. A Vermont native, Jess moved to New York after high school and was a graduate of New York University. Jess was ambitious, charismatic and driven, and he used that energy to change the fabric of the New York nightlife scene as we know it. He was a lover of art in all its forms, especially music, theater, burlesque, and photography. Over the years, Jess has inspired many other musicians and creative personalities of all types.

There are no words to describe the sadness experienced by his family, friends, and community at the loss of this beautiful soul. The impact he had on our lives will never be forgotten. He will forever be missed and forever live in our hearts.

We have created this memorial fund in honor and memory of Jess to help support research and raise awareness about suicide prevention, and help AFSP fund programs and resources for survivors of suicide loss and people at risk.

We thank you for your time and donation to our memorial fund in his honor,

With Love,

Family and Friends of Jess Marquis Immler
