Alexander J. Conn, Esq.   died unexpectedly  on January 6, 2016 at the age of 33.
 

Alexander is survived by his wife, Lacey Ullman Conn; his parents, Charles and Mary Jo Conn; his sister, Rachel Conn; his brother, Aaron Conn; his grandparents, Robert and Mary Ann Atwood and Ann Conn; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
 

Alexander received his J.D. from the University of Toledo, College of Law in 2008 and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Rochester in 2004. Prior to starting his own firm, The Law Offices of Alexander J. Conn, PLLC, he worked for the law firm of Bancroft, McGavin, Horvath & Judkins, P.C.
 

Alexander was very active in both the Fairfax Bar Association (FBA) and Fairfax Law Foundation (FLF), serving on the FBA Young Lawyers Board of Directors as a member and President-Elect; Young Lawyers Representative of the FLF Board of Directors; member of the FBA General District Court and Membership Committees; member and Volunteer Coordinator of the Heroes vs. Villains 5K Committee; and a frequent volunteer for the Court Tour Program.   Alexander was an avid hiker who cherished spending time in nature and with his dog, Barkley.
 

He will be deeply missed by his family,  friends and all who knew him.
 

A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, January 10, 2016.
