Welcome to the Cattaraugus County
Out of the Darkness Online Experience!
WHEN, WHERE, and WHAT?
We will not be gathering together this year in person, but our mission remains the same: to save lives and spread hope to those affected by suicide. We encourage you and your team to register and fundraise as in years past, with proceeds supporting the work of the AFSP Western NY Chapter, which has continued its research and programs throughout COVID.
Then, join us on October 17th when we will post our Chapter-wide online ceremony including a photo slideshow and Honor Beads. We want to keep you up-to-date with the most current information, so be sure to sign up by clicking the REGISTER HERE button.

WAIT … ARE WE STILL WALKING TO FIGHT SUICIDE?
We won't be walking as a group this year, but encourage you and your team to walk together wherever you are in Cattaraugus County this, and join us online on October 17th!

The Out of the Darkness Walk is a journey of remembrance, hope, and support. It unites our communities and provides an opportunity to acknowledge the ways in which suicide and mental illness have affected our lives and the lives of those we love and care about.
