Run for Hope 5K is an exciting fun run with an epic color blast finish! Hosted by New Hope Calvary Chapel, this event benefits the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, whose mission is to find better ways to prevent suicide, create a culture that’s smart about mental health, and bring support to those affected by suicide.

Whether you are an experienced runner, running in your first 5K or walking with a stroller, come support a great cause and have a good time doing so! When the race is over, join us for music, food, photo props, vendors and resources and a ceremony to honor local Police and Fire Departments.

FAQ’s
What is the color blast finish line?
As you reach the finish line, runners/walkers can opt to run through our amazing color blast zone where volunteers will be standing by to douse you in brightly colored powder. It’s a ton of fun! But if that’s not your thing, you’ll have plenty of time to turn early and avoid the mess. 😉

COURSE

The 3.1 mile paved course runs along the scenic Jordan River trail, then loops back to the Olympic Park. It’s wheelchair and stroller friendly. Remember, this run is not timed so you can go all out or take it slow, and enjoy the gorgeous views!
