In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month in May, we are inviting all hikers, walkers, runners, family, and friends to walk various trails while raising funds for AFSP.

We would like to extend a HUGE thank you to the Jacquelyn Bogue Foundation for their generous sponsorship match, making their total contribution to this year's event $5,000!!!!

While our Hike for Hope will be offered virtually this year, our mission to Save Lives and Bring Hope to Those Affected by Suicide has not changed. We are a strong and resilient community, united in our effort to fight suicide, raise awareness, educate our communities, support those who have lost loved ones, and support those with lived experience.

Click here to submit photos of you hiking, of your loved ones, & more for our closing ceremony video! Submissions due by May 29th

All participants that are registered for the OC Hike for Hope will be entered into a raffle for a box of chocolates generously donated by Sweet Saffrons. A winner will be announced each week starting on Thursday, April 8 and ending on Thursday, May 27 -  eight winners in all! REGISTER NOW!

Congrats to this week's winner, Jamie B. from Laguna!!!

This is a month long virtual event so participants can hike at their own trail location.

Be sure to take photos of your adventures & tag #OChikeforhope on social media!

Orange County Trails:
You can click on the park of your choice and it will provide info and maps and levels of difficulty. Please note: some parks charge for parking which will be noted. (Usually, it is $3-$5)

Regional trails:

The Irvine Ranch website is also a great place to find places to hike as well as free guided hikes:

In addition, you can download the AllTrails app which provides maps and difficulty ratings as well.

We would suggest you hike at your own pace and either have a goal of a certain amount of miles hiked with sponsors to donate accordingly or just hike and have fun! If you raise $150 you will receive a very cool Hike for Hope t-shirt!!
