We invite you to attend social distanced IN-PERSON Southwest Florida Chapter Hike for Hope!
Saturday, June 5th
North Port, FL - Myakkahatchee Creek Environment Park
AFSP Staff and Volunteers will have tables set up in the shelter in the park located at Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park (6968 Reisterstown Rd., North Port, FL 34291)
There is ample free parking within the park.
All participants can create and join teams. This is a great way to motivate family, friends, and co-workers to join you!
Registered hikers will be emailed updates and invites to e-vents in the upcoming months, as well as given the opportunity to participate for incentive prizes
Individuals who raise $100 or more, will be shipped our exclusive 2021 Hike for Hope t-shirt!
Is There a Cost to Attend?
There is no cost to attend, but we do encourage you to set a $100 fundraising goal to help support the Southwest Florida Chapter of AFSP's work to stop suicide. Anyone who raises $100 will receive our Hike for Hope t-shirt.
If you raise $100 or by June 4th, your 2021 Southwest Florida Hike for Hope t-shirt will be mailed to you following the hike.
We will be hiking the yellow trail within Myakkahatchee Environmental Park, which is approximately 1.4 miles in length . You can choose to hike more or less distance if you want! You will be walking in the woods and you set the pace and the distance.
Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park is dog friendly. All dogs must be kept on a hand-held, maximum 6-foot leash.
