Join Me in Supporting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
I was thirteen when I was diagnosed with depression and put on medication, and I was fourteen when I wanted to kill myself. If it were not for the loving support of my family and friends, I never would've found the strength to tell someone about the terrible thing I wanted to do before it was too late.
And now for the second year in a row I'm walking in the Out of the Darkness Denver Metro Walk to fight suicide and support AFSP's bold goal to reduce the suicide rate 20% by 2025. Promoting suicide awareness and stoping the stigma surrounding mental health is more important now than ever, and I want this to be the generation that accomplishes that!
Please help me reach my goal by clicking the "Donate" button on this page. All donations are 100% tax deductible and benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), funding research, education, advocacy, and support for those affected by suicide.
The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide. AFSP creates a culture that’s smart about mental health through education and community programs, develops suicide prevention through research and advocacy, and provides support for those affected by suicide.
