Join Me in Supporting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
Greetings Friends and Family
Once again the Philadelphia Out of Darkness Walk will be taking place to raise awareness, education and prevention of suicide. And once again, Team Taylor will be an important and vital participant.Last year, due to your generosity, we were among the top couple of fundraisers, if not the top, for the entire event.Team Taylor 3 had a wonderful showing of “Walkers” and this year we hope for the same for Team Taylor 4.
Whether you choose to walk or not, I am so appreciative and genuinely thankful for your donation. It will help the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) reach its goal of reducing the annual suicide rate 20% by 2025.Two facts to consider:44,193 suicides a year in the US; for every suicide there are 25 attempts. So sad. So disturbing.
When Taylor was little, I always called her "Grasshopper" ala Kwai Chang Caine (David Carradine) in Kung Fu. When you can take the pebble from my hand, it will be time for you to leave. This is the image for this year's Team Taylor 4 T-shirt.
The easiest way to donate is to click the ORANGE DONATE RECTANGLE image on top. Donations are 100%tax deductible. If you'd like to have your own "mini-team" donate, please go to TEAM TAYLOR 4 button on top. Then click on JOIN OUR TEAM (in the orange rectangle) and fill out info.
If you'd like to WALK with TT 4, please email or text me as well as sending T-shirt size.
