💛🖤💛 3 weeks will mark one year since we experienced the most devastating day of our lives. There has been a lot of hills to climb, on going counseling sessions, several break downs, and lots of recovery. Last year everything happened so quickly and unexpectedly my instant maternal instinct was to shelter and protect my son from such a grown up thing as long as I could. Well, I have one special, sensitive, mature little man and now that he knows and understands the entire situation, Braedyn will be joining me on the walk this year! Something for us to do together, to show him we will never forget, to see that we aren’t the only people that experience or have gone through this tragedy and not to be ashamed; but to teach him how to be an advocate for people who suffer depression and other mental disorders that lead them to such a dark state that they feel they have no other way out. This will be a great experience for him and us together. To show him that we’re not alone in this process , teach him not to cast judgement and to always be kind, and just be there to listen. Also do some healthy grieving and most importantly, to heal a little more!
I’m very excited to share this experience with my son and so proud of him for wanting to participate. ‼️We are asking for donations for our walk to honor the memory of Braedyn’s Dad and anyone else who has lost the fight. Any amount small or large is more than generous and we will be extremely grateful for the kindness to this great cause we are very passionate about‼️
“How do you get that lonely? How do you hurt that bad? To make you make the call, that having no life at all, is better than the live that you have? How do you feel so empty, you want to let it all go? **Nobody Knows**
