I care about our youth and our community.  I support the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in its efforts of helping our loved ones find ways to cope.

Helping ONE person at a time is always better than not helping at all.

It's worth the fight.

EVERY LIFE MATTERS

Every day in the United States there is over 5,400 suicide attempts by our youth grades 7-12.

More of our children and youth die from suicide than from the next eight leading causes combined, including AIDS, cancer, stroke, and Pneumonia.

According to the CDC statistics of 2014, suicide is the second leading cause of death for our children, youth, and young adults ages 10-34

On average 80% of our teens who attempt suicide have previously given clear warning signs. We all need to take steps to help become more aware of the signs of our children and young adults.
