On Wednesday, March 22nd, our family woke up to a world where Hank Ballard is only a memory. A world that cannot hear his contagious laugh. A world that cannot feel his gentle spirit. A world that cannot benefit from his incredible potential. 

On Wednesday, March 22nd, our family woke up to the finality of one decision. The despair of loss. The hopelessness of "what ifs."  The realization of a life lost. 

On Wednesday, March 22nd, our family woke up as a statistic. One of the many families touched by suicide. Forever altered by the belief that there was no other choice. 

On Wednesday, March 22nd, our family goes to bed with a purpose. To help raise awareness to help educate others. To help stop this dreaded "disease."
