Support The Brewmasters Forget Me Nots as we celebrate the life of Christine Johnson by walking to fight suicide in the Out of the Darkness 2020 Washington State Out of the Darkness Experience .
In the past we've celebrated Christine's life with friends, family and the amazing community at Brewmasters by raising over $10,000 each year to fight this epidemic. Most of this was raised via the auction/raffle event we held at Brewmasters. As you can imagine, COVID has made that event impossible this year due to distancing guidelines. However, COVID has not reduced the need for mental health services and suicide prevention. In fact, it has only made the need greater. According to the CDC mental health issues are on the rise, including 11% of all adults and 25% of adults ages 25-29 reporting they have seriously considered suicide since the beginning of the pandemic.
To reach this fundraising goal we are joining the community of more than 350k people walking in hundreds of cities across the country in support of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's mission to save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide.
Please help us reach our fundraising goal by donating to a team member. To donate online, please select "Roster" and then choose one of the team members listed. Once you're on their page, click "Donate Now." Donations can only be made to individuals, but the total each participant raises goes toward our team goal.
All donations are 100% tax deductible and will help bring AFSP one step closer to achieving their bold goal to reduce the suicide rate 20% by 2025.
You can also support us by registering to walk with our team - just click the "join our team" button above.
Let's remember the amazing woman that Christine was and raise some money to save lives!
