Join Me in Supporting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
I lost my only child Talyn to suicide on 3/28/17 she was 16 years old. Suicide Prevention and Awareness have become something I am very passionate about and this walk is an opportunity for me to help others and to hopefully make a difference. This organization not only provides help to those suffering with thoughts of ending their life but also provides helpful resources and information to those who have been affected by the loss of a loved one due to suicide. In order to help heal my heart and bring awareness to this growing health crisis I'm walking in the Out of the Darkness Salt Lake City Walk to fight suicide and support AFSP's bold goal to reduce the suicide rate 20% by 2025.
Please help me reach my goal by clicking the "Donate" button on this page. All donations are 100% tax deductible and benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), funding research, education, advocacy, and support for those affected by suicide.
The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide. AFSP creates a culture that’s smart about mental health through education and community programs, develops suicide prevention through research and advocacy, and provides support for those affected by suicide. Led by CEO Robert Gebbia and headquartered in New York, AFSP has local chapters in all 50 states with programs and events nationwide.
