Taña Celeste Romero was my little sister. We were three, myself being the middle child. Taña was the smartest, prettiest and strongest of the three of us. She always was. Life's challenges were plentiful, and she struggled with all too many things, and in the end, they won. Taña took her own life at the age of 45. The anguish she must have felt when she finally came to the conclusion that this was the only way to find peace just breaks my heart, and absolutely broke the hearts of all who knew her. My hope is that her soul is truly resting now and that her next incarnation will know true love and joy. She deserved that in this life. We all do. Thank you for reading this, and for your support of this wonderful organization that continues to educate and help the all-too-many who need compassion and assistance.
