The Bedford Hike for Hope provides an opportunity to enjoy our natural surroundings and acknowledge the ways in which suicide and mental health conditions have affected our lives and the lives of those we love and care about.  We hope you will join us in the beautiful setting of Falling Creek Park for this hope-filled event.

FAQs

Is there a registration fee?

There is no registration fee or
fundraising minimum to participate.

We strongly encourage each participant
to set a $150 fundraising goal to help support AFSP's work to stop suicide
and receive the official hike t-shirt!

If I raise enough money, will my
whole team get a shirt?

The event shirts are only given to individuals who raise
$150 by 05/05/2024.

If your whole team wants a shirt, each member must raise $150.

How do I make an offline donation?

To send a donation by check, please complete the Offline Donation Form
and send it with your check to the
address provided on the form.

parking, the route, and the venue?

Can I register at the hike? 

Advanced registration is encouraged,
but you can register or donate in-person
at the hike by scanning a QR code.
Hike donations are accepted until
June 30th.

 

Are dogs allowed?

Leashed, friendly dogs are allowed.
Please come prepared to clean up
after your pet.

Can I turn in money at the hike?

Yes. We are encouraging everyone to donate online using their smart phone at afsp.org/bedfordhike, but we will still be accepting donations at the event. 
 

Can I buy swag?

You can!  We will have limited swag available for purchase at the event.  We can accept payment via credit card and Cash App.  No cash or checks, please.  If you'd like to purchase any merchandise from our full selection, you are welcome to shop online at afsp.org/store.
 

What happens if it rains?

Our event is rain or shine.
 

Can I bring my dog?

Leashed dogs are welcome at the Hike for Hope.  Please come prepared to clean up after your pet.
 

Are there bathrooms? 

Yes, there will be bathrooms available in the park.
