Teams with 5 or more members registered by August 25th and that raise a total of at least $1500 (total for team by 8/25) will have their team name featured on the back of the official Wenatchee Out of the Darkness Walk T-Shirt!
The Top Fundraising Team of 2014 will carry the walk banner on Walk Day (Top Fundraising Team is announced/notified the day before the walk)
The top 3 individual walker who raises the most money by September 27th will receive a $50, $75 and $100 Visa Gift Card.
Walkers who raise $100 between NOW and August 31 will receive a custom printed AFSP Wenatchee walk dog tag. The tag will include their personal message on one side and American Foundation for Suicide Prevention on the other! You will receive an email during the week beginning Monday September 1, if you have reached this target.
We will have our Memorial Garden all participants are welcome to bring a photo(no larger than 8x10) of your loved ones to place on this display. Note: please bring copies of your photo that are not originals in case of accidental damage.
Honor Beads will be available to all participants and you are welcome and encouraged to take beads to wear on the day of the walk. If you would like to know more about the Honor Beads, click here to find out what they signify.

We'll have volunteers helping with everything from Event Set Up & Breakdown to Food and Beverage Stations, the Honor Bead Tent, Route Support, Prize Giveaways, and much more!

Information tables hosted by local businesses and non-profit organizations will open at 9:00 a.m. This is your opportunity to gather literature, hear about upcoming events, and connect with others who are dedicated to raising awareness of mental illness and suicide, strengthening prevention efforts, and providing support to those impacted by suicide loss.
*Online registration closes at noon (local time) the Friday before the walk. However, anyone who would like to participate can register in person at the walk during the check-in times listed above. Walk donations are accepted until December 31st.
