Fundraising Page for Northwest New Jersey Walk

I will be joining with thousands of people nationwide to walk in AFSP's Northwest New Jersey Walk to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. I would appreciate any support that you give me for this worthwhile cause.
The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is at the forefront of research, education and prevention initiatives designed to reduce loss of life from suicide. With more than 33,000 lives lost each year in the U.S. and over one million worldwide, the importance of AFSP's mission has never been greater, nor our work more urgent.
I hope you will consider supporting my participation in this event. Any contribution will help the work of AFSP, and all donations are 100% tax deductible.
In honor of my grandfather, Stephen Kalmus, who passed on September 16, 2011. He was a former Parisppany police officer, the father of Mitchell and Cory Kalmus, and grandfather to my brother Jonathan, sister Madison, and I. Pepa, we love and miss you. I think about you everyday. I'm doing this for you and all of the other families that have suffered the loss of a loved one to suicide.
This past year has been one of the hardest ones of my life. I'm 16 years old and have experienced one of the most tragic things a kid my age could. The death of my grandfather hit me very deeply and I intend to make a difference in the lives of those struggling depression.
All I keep thinking about is if there was something I could have done to help him. I'm participating in this walk to promote suicide awareness and save at least one life and family from this devastation.
Donating any amount of money, no matter how small, will help. Please help me make a difference.
