Ashton River Ernst was a remarkable human being.  He was honest, inquisitive, concerned for the well being of others, and a straight up ball buster.  He knew the answers to most of his questions before he even asked them and usually just wanted a martial arts style of discussion to sharpen his intellect.  His passion for powerlifting was paramount, followed closely by his research into extraterrestrial life.  And if you thought you could beat him in Halo, you were sorely mistaken.

A genuinely wonderful human being, Ashton struggled with Bipolar disorder from a young age.  The habits he put in place to combat the mental mayhem he dealt with on a daily basis were impressive.  He took his gym session and medical regiment very seriously.  But most importantly, Ashton touched everyone that entered his life so positively.  Understanding Ashton was a course in and of itself.  And the longer you took the course, the more it shaped you personally.

The memorial fund is dedicated to Ashton’s life and the work he did personally as well as publically to fight Bipolar disorder as well as support others who need the strength to fight their own fight.  If you’re reading this, then you probably already understand the impact your contribution would mean to both Ashton and the fight of others.  Thank you for being a part of Ashton’s life.  He will be dearly missed.
