JonTaun was a good friend of mine, someone I loved and cared for deeply. He struggled with a lot and ended up killing himself. 

But the ending of his story isn't the point - the point is who Jon was: a good, decent person. 

In the brief time I knew him, he never willfully hurt anyone, never wished ill, and never had anything but kind words for his friends. No one is perfect, but almost as rare are those who are simply good. And Jon was that. For all the pain he felt, he was still able to spread happiness - that's no easy feat. 

I'm lucky to have known him. 

As a small way of paying him back, I've created this page in his memory and hope that those on the receiving end will get the chance that Jon never had.
