My Aunt Marie was always a powerful force.  She, like all those in our family, wasn't afraid to speak her mind.  She loved with her whole being and showed compassion and empathy to so many who struggled around her.

It was always amazing how she could walk into a room and you couldn't help but be pulled to her.  She would play with her nieces and nephews as easily as she would chat and laugh with the adults.  She absolutely adored the little creatures that were in her life (whether human or furry).  I remember her holding my son and being so thrilled at his tiny sweetness, just as I remember being a kid and her being ready to play, steal some snuggles and the occasional foot rub.  She worked hard and laughed readily; something we can all be inspired by.  Her heart was infinitely willing to accept in all of us.

The memories she leaves us all with are vast and precious.  We are all made better for having had her in our lives.

We are devastated by the loss of our deeply loved aunt, sister, friend, and daughter.  We hope to help prevent other families from having to experience this pain and grief by donating to further the research and support that the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention has been doing.
