Heroes for Healing are a dedicated and passionate group of donors who have the resources to significantly impact the work of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and the community it serves. These committed heroes help champion our mission to save lives and bring hope and healing to those affected by suicide.
The Heroes for Healing society recognizes individuals who make an annual unrestricted, non-event contribution to AFSP of $5,000 or more. Through their membership, heroes are able to experience a deeper connection to the work of AFSP by standing with us in building a world free of suicide.
Benefits of becoming a Hero for Healing:
Through Heroes for Healing, members are able to:
• Help fund vital research to better understand and prevent
suicide
• Develop and share educational programs with
professionals to assist in suicide prevention and loss
healing
• Provide the community with vital information regarding
mental health and suicide prevention
• Serve as leaders in the promotion of policies and
legislation that impact suicide and prevention
• Provide access to healing programs and resources for
survivors of suicide loss

• Bi-annual e-updates on AFSP priorities and activities

• Listed as a Heroes for healing Member in AFSP Annual
