We are joining the community of nearly 250k people walking in hundreds of cities across the country in support of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's mission to save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide.
Suicide and mental health are pertinent issues in our chapter and community. In 2018 we lost the son of our Chapter Advisor, Will Czymmek, on the day before his eighteenth birthday. Many brothers have a strong association with the dairy industry, which has seen increased rates of mental health issues in the past few years. Cornell University itself holds a reputation as one of the most stressful universities in the nation.
Please help us reach our fundraising goal by donating to a team member. To donate online, please select "Roster" and then choose one of the team members listed. Once you're on their page, click "Donate Now." Donations can only be made to individuals, but the total each participant raises goes toward our team goal. 83 cents of every donation goes directly to program services, more than popular charities such as St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and The Boys and Girls Clubs of America.
All donations are 100% tax deductible and will help bring AFSP one step closer to achieving their bold goal to reduce the suicide rate 20% by 2025.
