I will be participating in 46 Climbs for Suicide Prevention for my third year to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) and I would greatly appreciate any support that you give me for this worthwhile cause.
Over the last two years, I have been able to raise just over $1,000 for this amazing organization while getting out on the trails during Suicide Prevention Week. I have had some of the most amazing and thought provoking conversations of my life around suicide, its causes, and mental health in general.
I do this event each year, as it is very near and dear to my heart for a multitude of reasons. Most importantly I do it for all of those that have been touched by suicide in some way, either losing someone dear to them, being one of the many whose lives have been lost, and most importantly those who fight against it themselves.
Every mile, every dollar is for you!
AFSP is at the forefront of research, education and prevention initiatives designed to reduce loss of life from suicide. With more than 38,000 lives lost each year in the U.S. and over one million worldwide, the importance of AFSP's mission has never been greater, nor their work more urgent.
I hope you will consider making a pledge to my climbs during Suicide Prevention Week with 46 Climbs and my team of hiking pals. Any contribution will help the work of AFSP, and all donations are 100% tax deductible.
Donating online is safe and easy! To make an online donation please click the "Support This Participant" button on this page.
Last year I received $665 in donations and this year my hope is to exceed that with $700+.
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page and any support you can provide, monetary or otherwise! Even if it's just pledging to have more open conversations around mental health with your loved ones!
