Dear Friend,Welcome to the Fight To Win fundraising page! We will be joining many others worldwide on the mountains and in the valleys for 46Climbs 2018 this fall. This event benefits the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and we would appreciate any support that you give for this worthwhile cause. The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is at the forefront of research, education and prevention initiatives designed to reduce loss of life from suicide. With more than 36,000 lives lost each year in the U.S. and over one million worldwide, the importance of AFSP's mission has never been greater, nor our work more urgent.Any contribution will help the work of AFSP, and all donations are 100% tax deductible.Donating online is safe and easy! To make an online donation please search for one of the participants and then click the "Support This Participant" button on their page. Donations can only be made to individuals, but the total each participant raises goes toward our team goal.Thank you for visiting the Fight To Win fundraising page!
Many of us have a been affected by the loss of a loved one caused by suicide. This climb is in memory of our Fight To Win member, Jaden, who left this world prematurely at the age of 13, and for all others who have suffered the loss of a friend or family member due to mental illness or suicide. This climb is for anyone who has suffered, first hand, to depression, PTSD, or other mental illness and has found a way to overcome or continue to fight to overcome this obstacle in their life as well as in support of those who might feel alone in their uphill battle. You are not alone. Together, we are climbing this mountain with you. Let us come together to climb Mt Pisgah, Mt Mitchell, and Grandfather Mountain to demonstrate our love and support for the ones we have lost and the ones that continue to face their challenges everyday. Let's choose life! Life is good!
*We will update this page on designated team climb dates this summer. If you would like to go on a climb individually, please wear your Fight To Win t-shirt and post a picture of yourself at the top with #FightToWin #FightToWinSpartanburg #46Climbs attached in order to show our support for the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention, our team member,Jaden, and anyone else close to you this cause may affect.
