So many people struggle with the challenges of mental health issues that are compounding and limiting in their day to day functioning.  When this becomes unbearable, people consider suicide.  Here at Island Psychiatry, we work to break down barriers like cost, insurance, stigma and fear to provide as much access as possible to quality care.  Find out more.

We want to take this time to give back to the community and support people who we cannot reach through our efforts in order to prevent suicide among our friends and families.  TODAY we do this to honor a great champion of mental health, Dr. Randall Solomon, who has dedicated his personal and professional mission to support people in having a good life.

Island Psychiatry has a vision to reshape mental health care to be more effective, comprehensive, more equitable and more caring.  Dr. Solomon leads this effort with a focus on an empathic effort in the context of a trusting, caring and non-judgemental relationship with our patients. This is accomplished through his heartfelt conviction to a relentlessly energetic approach to providing care that helps guide our patients to a mentally healthier life.

To honor him, we have set up a charitable page to donate to the larger collective mission in our community and prevent suicide.
